The 5 Best Chiropractors in Oklahoma City for Chronic Pain and Injury Recovery

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Qualifications – We looked at their team’s qualifications and experience since they deal with issues related to muscles and the spine.

Treatment plan – We checked out how each clinic creates suitable treatment plans for its patients.

Availability and scheduling – We picked clinics that can see patients on time, have flexible schedules, and manage client appointments effectively.

Track record – We chose chiropractors with a history of good results after every session.

Client care – It’s important to treat clients properly and address concerns about the services or the clinic.

Price – We listed clinics with reasonable rates, considering their pricing schemes.

Nursery rhymes can get pretty dark when you really think about them. I mean, what exactly did they mean by “step on a crack, you’ll break your mother’s back?” Well, that rhyme felt a little too real for my sister.

Look, she didn’t break her back, but she’s been dealing with constant pain, and it only seems to flare up more every time she plays with her kids. She didn’t want to rely on pain meds, and mental conditioning and “pushing through it” wasn’t working.

So we decided to dig in and review the best chiropractors in Oklahoma City. Read on to see which ones stand out for treating back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, and posture problems.

How much does chiropractic care cost in Oklahoma City?

Chiropractic care in Oklahoma City can cost around $30 to $200 per visit, depending on the clinic, type of treatment, and whether it’s an initial consultation or a follow-up adjustment. Some offer package deals or accept insurance to lower overall costs.

1. Native Chiropractic

What we appreciate most about Native Chiropractic is that their services are family-friendly. In other words, clients like infants, children, pregnant mothers, and parents looking for wellness for the entire family can easily get tailored treatment here.

They even have a playroom for children and a supportive atmosphere to make things more comfortable, especially for parents who need to bring their babies or toddlers to appointments.

It’s worth noting that their initial assessments last about 45-60 minutes, so they really get down to business and allow time for a full health history, neurological evaluation, and discussion about care recommendations.

While their follow-up visits are more efficient and quicker, taking about 5-15 minutes, it makes it convenient for busy parents or working professionals. And you’ll probably need the fast turnaround since they’re closed from Fridays to Sundays.

Lastly, we like that they offer payment plans to make their services more accessible, especially since they don’t do direct insurance billing, but they do provide documentation for reimbursement.

Pros

  • Focus on prenatal, pediatric, and family wellness care
  • Comprehensive initial assessments
  • Efficient follow-up visits
  • Family-friendly environment
  • Offers payment plans

Cons

  • Closed Fridays to Sundays

My baby has had major improvements

Helping me with my nervous system regulation

“Native has been life changing for our family. From managing my son’s sensory processing challenges, emotional outburst and regulation to helping me with nervous system regulation, neck/shoulder pain and headaches I don’t know what we would do without Native! I was hesitant at first because of the investment but when I saw the dramatic almost immediate improvement in my son I was sold and decided to invest in myself too. They are friendly, understanding -“and so uplifting. What a fun, family friendly environment .”

If your body isn’t thriving, then Thrive Chiropractic Group is a good place to start. You see, they treat common issues such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, muscular tension, and even respiratory conditions like asthma.

We love that their clinic doesn’t solely rely on spinal adjustments; you can get comprehensive care, including physiotherapy, stretching routines, and exercise recommendations. Combining treatments can lead to more tailored care plans and sustainable results.

Their expertise in helping patients recover from injuries related to car accidents also gets a nod from us. They identify hidden injuries and provide non-surgical treatment, and they can even connect you with attorneys for legal assistance.

It’s just a bummer that they’re closed four days a week and only open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This can make it tricky for some to schedule a visit.

On a positive note, we’re happy to see that they accept many major insurance plans and offer affordable new patient packages for around $99.

Pros

  • Treats many conditions
  • Provides comprehensive care
  • Great with car accidents and injury recovery cases
  • Accepts major insurance plans
  • Affordable introductory offer

Cons

  • Closed four days a week

Always had a great experience

“I’ve always had a great experience at Thrive! Dr Edwards is knowledgeable and I feel great after each adjustment. Kimberly is just amazing and makes booking appointments very easy. I’m grateful for their work and I highly recommend them!”

Easy and fast process

“Best chiropractor I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Love the easy and fast process every time I go in for my appointments. The staff is extremely friendly and Dr. Jake is the best and really informative of the adjustments he makes. My sleep, pain, and recurring nausea have all benefited greatly from my regular appointments. Very highly recommended!”

3. The Joint Chiropractic

Address: 13006 N Pennsylvania Ave

Phone: +1 405-266-5868

Business hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 10 AM – 2 PM, 2:45 PM – 7 PM
  • Saturday to Sunday: 10 AM – 5 PM

One of the main selling points of The Joint Chiropractic is that they accept walk-in visits, which means you can easily fit a chiropractic session in your schedule rather than having to book in advance. Plus, they’re open seven days a week, so you’ll have more chances to go.

To make the setup more efficient, we like that their sessions usually take just around 15 minutes or less, so you’ll be in and out pretty quickly—lunch breaks make for a great window if you’re busy.

Price-wise, they’re incredibly accessible, particularly their introductory deal: $29 and you can get an initial consultation, exam, and adjustment.

But we did come across some reports of scheduling issues, whether it’s cancelled follow-ups or rescheduling at short notice.

Nonetheless, we have to give it to them for encouraging regular chiropractic maintenance through their monthly wellness plans.

Pros

  • Accepts walk-in visits
  • Affordable introductory rate
  • Quick sessions
  • Focus on routine wellness care

Cons

  • No direct billing
  • Some reports of scheduling issues

Quick check-in, zero hassle, and a very clean space

“Came in with stubborn neck and lower back pain and left a believer. The Joint Chiropractic on North Penn runs like clockwork—quick check-in, zero hassle, and a very clean space. Dr. Tylor is the best ever: he took time to understand my issue, adjusted with care (not force), and gave me simple tips to keep the pain away. After a few visits my mobility and posture improved a ton. Five stars all the way!”

Got me fixed up and pain-free

“I went several months ago for an ankle sprain. Dr. Mixon got me fixed up and pain free. I was able to go on a hiking trip that weekend. Today I went in to see him for numbness in my hand. The numbness is gone and I have Strength in my arm and my hand again. I will definitely be back for regular appts.”

Ford Chiropractic Life Center has a decent lineup of treatments, so other than spinal adjustments, you can rely on them for neuropathy care, arthritis relief, laser therapy, orthotics, and weight management programs. It’s easier to address complex issues with this scope.

Their partnership with major insurance plans like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and HealthChoice can also help you avoid out-of-pocket costs.

Besides that, we love that they offer $39 new patient deals, which include consultation, exam, and X-rays (depending on needs).

On the downside, availability and scheduling can become an issue, especially since they’re closed Fridays to Sundays and only have one chiropractor in the team.

Regardless, we’re glad that they treat patients of all ages, including pregnant women and infants. They deliver gentle chiropractic techniques that are suitable and tailored to each stage of life, making it a reliable family-oriented clinic.

Pros

  • Broad range of treatments
  • Has new patient deals
  • Accepts major insurance plans
  • Family-friendly chiropractic care

Cons

  • Closed Fridays to Sundays
  • Has a small team

Takes time to listen to your issues

“I’m always seen quickly, and I’m always treated gently. He takes the time to listen to your issues and then he gets to work on ya. I definitely always feel better and relieved after my visits. I still go even though they don’t take my cheap health insurance anymore, lol. Because it really is THAT worth it to go out of my way to come here and pay out of pocket. 10/10 Would recommend! It definitely works if you put in the work after he adjusts you!”

5. OKC Muscle And Joint Chiropractic

okc-muscle-and-joint-chiropractic

Address: 1211 N Shartel Ave Suite 408

Phone: +1 405-646-6626

Business hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 10 AM – 2 PM, 3 PM – 6 PM
  • Friday to Saturday: 10 AM – 2 PM

Their name is straight to the point: OKC Muscle And Joint Chiropractic has a knack for focusing on both joint alignment and muscle tension during the same visit. So expect to get treatments that combine chiropractic adjustments with targeted muscle therapy techniques.

Another thing worth highlighting is their shockwave therapy that helps stimulate healing in muscles, tendons, and connective tissue. With this sort of access to newer therapies alongside chiropractic care, recovery is streamlined and more holistic.

We also find their appointments handy since it’ll only take you around 5 minutes for basic adjustments and 20 minutes for muscle and joint therapy sessions.

Here’s the catch, though: they don’t accept insurance billing, so you’ll have to shell out cash to get treatment, and some rates might feel steep.

The good news is that their new patient special deal is affordable: you can get a consultation, exam, adjustment, and muscle work for around $25.

Pros

  • Joint alignment and muscle tension expertise
  • Offers shockwave therapy
  • Affordable new patient special
  • Quick but focused appointments

Cons

  • No direct billing
  • Some rates can feel pricey

I walked out feeling better and not rushed at all! Definitely a good spot if you’re thinking about trying chiropractic care!”
