Mrs Doolittle’s Pet Stay N Play is a jack-of-all-trades, and although we haven’t tried their pet grooming and daycare, their boarding service has impressed us multiple times.
For starters, we think that they offer a more than habitable second home for dogs because they feature spacious outdoor and indoor areas. Furthermore, they offer custom kennels based on the dogs’ sizes and feature climate control.
However, the brightest stars are the staff members, as they’re trained in CPR and first aid. Moreover, we appreciate how they provide constant updates over the phone and even a run-through of everything they did for the day.
We also love Mrs Dolittle’s accessible location, as it’s only a 15-ish minute drive from the Will Rogers International Airport. This makes picking up and dropping off dogs much more convenient when travelling by plane.
The only downside here is the slightly pricier rates. However, regulars stand by these rates, with some stating that these prices are worth every penny because of the premium service and accommodation.

“My dog is basically my second child. I love Mrs. Doolittle’s because I feel the employees genuinely enjoy what they do and love the pets they take care of.
I would never leave him with someone that I didn’t feel would take proper care of him and also go out of their way to make him feel comfortable and make sure he has a good time away from home. These people do that and then some.
They aren’t cheap, but I would never board him anywhere else. I prefer boarding him here over boarding him at his vet even though they are awesome too. Well worth the cost, every single time. Thank you guys for doing what you do and being who you are!”

Pawparazzi K9 Enrichment Resort is a great option if you’re feeling bad that you’re travelling and you can’t bring your furbaby. This place treats its guests like they’re on a doggy vacation by offering spacious suites that feature Kuranda beds, blankets, and even classical music.
These suites vary in size to cater to different-sized dogs and those with special needs. For instance, a friend of ours with a noise-sensitive dog opted for the Sunset Boulevard Suite, which Pawparazzi calls the quietest suite—it was a great call!
We also appreciate the option to purchase add-ons to further allow furparents to spoil their dogs. These include nail trimming, tooth brushing, bathing, ear cleaning, and more.
We just think that its location is inconvenient. It’s quite hidden and out-of-the-way if you’re near downtown or en route to the airport.

The Dog House immediately caught our attention because it offers some of the most affordable rates in Oklahoma.
At first, we thought they cut their costs by offering small rooms, but we were surprised to see their cosy boarding spaces during our ocular. Each room is cleaned regularly and features blankets and comfy beds.
We also appreciate the team’s dedication to caring for their guests. For instance, a resident team member stays overnight every day in case a dog needs extra care and attention in the middle of the night.
The biggest highlight of this place for us is the spacious cage-free play area. During our visit, several dogs were running freely, and we were glad to see this!
The only thing we think they can improve is the variety of their grooming services. At the time of writing, they only offer full baths and brush-outs.

Fur Night and Day, LLC is a great option if you’re looking to save money but don’t want to compromise on quality. They offer both daycare and boarding services, both of which are supervised by their passionate and trained team members.
From what we’ve heard from their regulars, this team does a great job of knowing their guests and learning about their behaviour. They can even provide separate rooms for dogs when they know that they don’t work well with others.
These people are also in charge of socialization activities. First of all, we appreciate them having these types of activities, and secondly, we were impressed with the outdoor area where they hold them.
We also appreciate that they offer free food for every guest if the owner decides not to bring their own.
The only thing they could improve upon is providing constant updates throughout the day. Personally, we love to be bombarded with pictures and we think they could improve their updates.
On the bright side, they make up for this a bit by providing live feeds from their webcams showing the common rooms and yards on their official website.

They do their best to keep your fur babies on the food schedule you give them
“I love them! I take my dog Rumor to day care on a lot of the weekends. I try to stay away from the packed holiday time as she’s older.

We couldn’t help but notice that many raved about Annie’s Ruff House’s staff. They pay attention to the tiniest details and take great care in choosing which pack to put each dog in based on their temperament, size, etc.
These professionals are also in charge of overseeing the daily sports programs, which aim to keep the guests active while helping them socialize with one another.
The only negative things we’ve heard from our interviews with their regulars are regarding the place’s inconvenient location and limited operating hours. Annie’s Ruff House is located far from downtown, and their weekend operating hours are so short.

“Our experience boarding our dog here has been excellent. We know they take great care of him. Unlike some other places, they have supervised play time with other dogs.
They recently increased their prices, but this was to fairly compensate their staff for their hard work, and I believe the quality of service provided is worth it.
We also didn’t realize that they close early on Saturday and have limited hours on Sunday, so we appreciated the owner calling us after hours to let us know they would be closed when we had planned to pick him up.”
