The Paw Spa Elite is one of the most qualified experts for the job, as it’s been around since the 1990s and its physical store on S Morgan Road was built back in 2007. Since then, they’ve opened multiple locations across the city, making their services more accessible.
Pawrents we spoke to also shared that they continue to choose The Paw Spa Elite for its strong focus on fear-free services. They even added that their dogs get all giddy on the way here, and have grown quickly accustomed to the groomers.
The spa has an overall fun, welcoming vibe that could also be used to describe its staff. These people exude passion, and clients could really tell that they genuinely care for their customers’ dogs.
It’s much appreciated that the spa offers personalized packages rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, so customers won’t be forced to pay more than they need. Our only wish is that their cat grooming services offer the same level of depth.

We want to include All Fur Paws because of its one-stop-shop nature, allowing clients to stock up on pet essentials when they bring their furbabies in for grooming. It does have a slight caveat: the place can get too busy at times, which can affect the ambience.
Fortunately, clients’ dogs rarely feel anxious here, thanks to the groomers’ gentle approach. We also admire their skillfulness in handling different dog breeds for services, like nail trimming and ear cleaning, which can be tough, depending on the dog’s size and behavior.
Our interviewees also love bringing their dogs here because they always come out smelling fresh and with their skin never irritated. This is thanks to the shop’s strict use of natural products, which is great for pets with sensitive skin.
It’s also fairly easy to schedule an appointment here, thanks to the responsive customer service line. They do take their appointments seriously, though, as they’ll cancel them if clients arrive 15 minutes late.

Our interviewees recommend Pawadise Parlor because it’s one of the few places in the city that offers dedicated cat grooming services. This immediately gives it an edge over other places that treat felines as an afterthought.
Both their dog and cat grooming services are surprisingly in-depth. Aside from their luxurious bathing with premium products, these packages can also include ear cleaning, paw moisturizing, nail trimming, and mat removal (for cats).
Furthermore, they offer specialized services, like cat lion haircuts and dog fitness services.
Pawadise Parlor also caught our attention for its unique, truly one-on-one grooming sessions, where each pet is assigned to a single groomer. This allows for a more stress-free environment, as pets won’t be in the same kennels as others and won’t be passed around to new people.
Not to mention the shop’s efforts to maintain a low-noise and calm environment, which immediately makes high-energy pets feel more relaxed.
Since this falls under a premium establishment, however, rates are significantly pricier.

Smith’s Grooming LLC is an excellent, affordable option for OKC pet owners. It doesn’t offer the most lavish services and products, but they do tick several boxes of what makes a great grooming service.
For starters, the company is helmed by a passionate and skilful groomer, Michelle Smith, who clients have noted as being extremely gentle and genuinely caring. Some of our interviewees even noted that their pets started warming up to Michelle within a couple of minutes.
We also appreciate the shop’s strict use of natural products, from its shampoos to conditioners, etc. They also offer blueberry facials and tick/flea baths that are great for dogs and cats with sensitive skin.
The groomers also approach each pet individually, offering tailor-made services, as opposed to a cookie-cutter package. At the same time, the spa offers a wide array of add-ons, including creative coloring and paw treatment.
Our only gripe is their slightly limited operating hours, as they’re closed on Sundays and Mondays.
