Speaking of, reaching out is a breeze. Whether you fill out the online form or call, locals appreciate their clear, reliable communications that ensure quick turnaround. Another bonus? Owner Rick is incredibly hands-on, whether answering questions or on-site, getting the job done.
As for the job, we love that they handle everything, so you’re not bouncing between suppliers. From a free consultation to post-installation monitoring, it’s all seamless.
But here’s the hitch: they’re only available on weekdays until 5 PM, which can limit flexibility. Still, their financing options make it easier to get started despite the schedule.

Another plus is their full-service approach, from fixing nitty gritty paperwork to post-installation customer support. However, we did notice some communication slips and installation timeline changes, especially during peak seasons.
Still, they’re hands-on and quick to make things right. From admin to installers, they’re professional and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer all your questions to help you feel confident and at ease.
Beyond panels, we appreciate that they also offer battery storage systems, from solar batteries to EV charging stations. This gives you more energy independence without having to juggle different contractors.
To boot, they offer 25-year workmanship and 10 to 25-year product warranties, giving clients long-term peace of mind in their solar investment.

Despite being one of the newer players in the industry, having just opened in 2021, EightyTwenty has already garnered a loyal following with their all-in-one approach to solar energy, spanning full system setups for homes and businesses.
Offering end-to-end system support, they will guide you on the best way to harness solar energy, whether you’re in a 1970s home or a brewery ready to tap into the sun.
We also like that they manage the entire process for a seamless experience. Their full-service approach covers custom designs, site evaluations, and installations, all backed by in-house engineers and installers for consistent quality.
That said, there were a few occasional hiccups, such as missed appointments or communication slips. Still, we appreciate how quickly they act to resolve issues.
They also stand out for their warranty coverage, offering 10 years for workmanship, 25 years for product, and 30 years for performance, making them hard to beat warranty-wise.

Great service and communication
“Great service and communication from EightTwenty. Had a different company install a few panels (fewer than I requested) and manage the electrical tie-in. EightTwenty installed exactly what I asked for and corrected errors from the previous contractor. Two years later and the system has been performing great. They recently noticed one of the micro inverters had failed and reached out immediately to rectify the issue. Within a week it was done, probably would have been faster if they weren’t waiting on me. Great to work with!”

Thanks to their electrical expertise, they can seamlessly integrate your solar panel system into your home’s existing wiring, making sure everything works perfectly. Though, it’s worth noting that they primarily only do residential installations and occasionally small commercial rooftops.
And because they’re electricians first, they’re knowledgeable when it comes to removing and replacing solar panels from other providers. For us, this gives homeowners peace of mind knowing that their system is properly integrated.
However, since solar isn’t their sole focus, they may not be as specialized as other dedicated companies, limiting design depth. They also don’t offer direct financing, so you’ll need to arrange that separately, which Blue Sky is happy to assist with.
