We could see how he genuinely cares about his patients’ health. You can go on and on about your symptoms, and he’ll ask every question under the sun to get the full picture.
The catch? He’s in high demand, and with half-day Fridays, getting an appointment can be tricky, so plan ahead. On the bright side, the clinic makes scheduling easy, so getting a spot is still doable.

We also like that he takes the time to explain each step, so you feel informed and confident, which is especially reassuring for patients (like me!) who get test anxiety.
While the wait at the reception is usually short, booking an appointment can take some planning since Dr Wynn is quite popular and wraps up early on Fridays.

From explaining what’s happening and walking you through your findings, we appreciate that he takes the time to make sure you don’t have a hard time following along.
While the wait is short, scheduling an appointment may take some planning, as he’s only available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and finishes early on Fridays.
Just a heads up: Dr. Tipu has another clinic at SSM’s Midwest branch, so double-check your appointment details to make sure you’re scheduled in his OKC office.

“I was warmly surprised by the level of care I received here today. From the front desk to the physician everyone had amazing bedside compassionate manner. No wait in waiting area despite being early. Dr. Tipu was very patient and spent the better part of two hours with me in the exam room and the ultrasound area. He’s so pleasant, love him. Made me feel as though I was his only patient. I have been diagnosed with primary Hyperparathyroidism. Under that umbrella he is addressing my osteoporosis as well. So if you have what I have I can assure you he’s your guy. Staff as well. Highly recommend.”

The only downside is that follow-ups can sometimes take a bit of patience due to the clinic’s busy schedule. That said, we appreciate that Dr. Philip never rushes appointments, so you’ll have time to cover every detail, from reviewing your test results to answering all of your questions.

What we love most about Dr. Choe and the team have an integrated care approach, combining both endocrinology and general health management. They go beyond cookie-cutter treatments, working closely with their patients to ensure personalized care tailored to their needs and goals.
That said, it’s worth noting that if you’re looking for highly specialized thyroid care for more complex cases, such as thyroid cancer management, a larger endocrinology center may still be a better option.
On the bright side, we still appreciate the comprehensive and convenient patient care as there are on-site diagnostics, wide insurance coverage from Coventry to United Healthcare, and a user-friendly patient portal.
