When we dropped by to observe, we noted how they’re heavily results-driven, particularly for university-level business and math subjects.

Moreover, the Mathnasium Method™ emphasises grasping concepts before speed, helping students build confidence in problem solving instead of simply memorising formulas.
Another plus is that they also offer in-person and online sessions. Also, their staff are always approachable and patient, especially with younger students who struggle with maths anxiety.

“Mathnasium is next door to my favorite nail salon and Gigi’s Cupcake. My daughter is a Junior in HS and had taken the ACT exam twice and could only obtain a composite Math score of 18. That said, what stands out next is how their process begins with a diagnostic assessment, allowing tutors to pinpoint strengths and learning gaps before sessions even start.
Moreover, this centre applies the Orton-Gillingham approach—a valuable technique for children with dyslexia and reading struggles. Plus, their tutoring isn’t tied to contracts, so anyone can book sessions based on progress and need instead of long commitments.
Parents are very satisfied with their children’s improvements in confidence alongside academics, particularly in reading and language skills. Overall, we weren’t surprised that The Study Hub is a top choice for tutoring in OKC.

It was a pleasure to observe Kumon Oklahoma City North because of the calm, organised, and routine-driven process in the center. They follow the well-known Kumon method that focuses on daily practice to help a child build independence in both math and reading.
That said, some parents mentioned a small hiccup: their sessions were being shortened numerous times. It may be a drawback if your child needs longer guidance.
On the brighter side, their teachers are attentive and quick to step in when students struggle, keeping lessons productive even within limited time.
Another standout is their flexibility, especially for busy families juggling school and extracurriculars. Parents can adjust schedules without much hassle, and communication with staff feels approachable and clear.
