As much as I prayed for a busy city lifestyle consisting of work, regular catch-ups with friends and families, and going to different attractions in OKC, it can be a bit overwhelming at times. I already tried multiple ways to slow down, but recently, my life coach recommended yoga.

I’ve always been a skeptic of yoga since I was a kid, because I found the poses they do funny when portrayed in movies and TV shows. After attending one class, however, I’m a total convert, as it continues to help me relieve stress and improve my heart health.

I’m all for trying different ones until you find which works best for you, so I asked my team to help find the top places that offer yoga classes in OKC, and I’m here to share them! Keep on reading to discover our picks and discover why they’re for you!

What is the average cost of yoga classes in OKC?

Single drop-in yoga classes in OKC typically cost between $15 to $25 or more, while class packs range from $85 to $190 for five to 10 classes. Studios also offer memberships costing $99 to $140 per month.

405 Yoga OKC offers some of the most sought-after classes in OKC thanks to its challenging, results-driven approach. They welcome beginners as well, but it may not suit those who prefer a slower pace of learning.

Students we spoke to said that, even though the classes are challenging, they always leave feeling satisfied because of the high-energy sessions. They also noted how the classes have helped them push themselves to the limit to improve their strength with minimal hand-holding.

Our interviewees also attributed their success in the class to their instructors, who were well-trained and knowledgeable. It’s also admirable how they foster a friendly, uplifting sense of community that motivates and encourages students, including beginners.

We’re also impressed by the variety of classes they offer, ranging from mobility-focused to high-energy sessions to target endurance, flexibility, and strength.

Lastly, we appreciate that they offer their yoga classes at discounted rates for beginners. Also, the studio’s easy online scheduling system and Downtown location make it among the most accessible yoga classes in the city.

Pros

  • Offers promotions
  • Accessible location
  • Great sense of community
  • Expert and friendly instructors
  • Beginner-friendly yet challenging classes

Cons

  • Fast-paced progress may not be for everyone

A beautiful community

“Melanie was a fabulous instructor who really engaged all levels of students. I appreciated the care they took in making a space for everyone and providing assistance that felt supportive.

It was especially nice to see Arrie, someone in 405’s Yoga Teacher Training, aid in the class as well. It’s a beautiful community here for all!”

You will leave feeling great

“I’ve worked in the oilfield, throwing chains and tripping pipe for 7-8 years. When I tell you this yoga class was so much more intense and harder than I expected, hats off to them!

That was insane! Great teacher, and I guarantee you will leave feeling great, but so sore! Perfect feeling, don’t knock it till you try it!”

Soul Yoga’s classes caught our attention because they’re mostly heat and music-driven. These two added elements make each session more dynamic, engaging, and sweaty.

As much as we appreciate its heated yoga classes, however, the temperature may not be for every beginner.

Furthermore, some students we spoke to said the studio’s beginner classes lean more towards the intermediate level, but they still recommend trying them. This seems to be the consensus among Soul Yoga’s students, with most stating they’re almost addicted to the challenge.

It also helps that these classes are helmed by proper instructors who have undergone rigorous training. Their knowledge of different poses and their ability to explain them easily are impressive feats.

We also recommend Soul Yoga for its warm, cozy, spa-like interior, which complements the intense sessions with relaxation.

The studio also offers virtual sessions for students who can’t make the drive to the studio. We also appreciate that they offer a library of different sessions.

Pros

  • Wide range of class styles
  • Unique music-driven and heated yoga
  • Spa-like studio
  • Offers both virtual and in-person sessions
  • Friendly and welcoming instructors

Cons

  • Not the best option for beginners

Obsessed with the Restorative class

“I absolutely love Soul Yoga. I recently signed up for ClassPass and tried several studios in OKC, but this is the only one I’ve returned to. I’m obsessed with the Restorative class with Laura— it is like crack in the best way lol.

I’m hooked. Incredibly gentle and relaxing. She is a great teacher. The class is like my weekly reset.”

Truly been a blessing

“I am so grateful for this studio – I found Soul Yoga when I was in search of virtual classes that would accommodate my work schedule, and their early morning Vinyasa classes have truly been a blessing, even when attending from a different time zone in Virginia.

James & Kathryn, thank you for helping me start my mornings in such a positive manner!”

This Land Yoga’s classes stand out to us for their smaller, more intimate sessions, which allow the instructors to pay more personalized attention to their students. However, this could be a double-edged sword as well, as it means that classes fill up quicker.

Speaking of instructors, they’re all praised for nurturing a safe, inclusive, and uplifting environment. They also check up on students individually to help in achieving complex poses they may be having trouble with.

The studio’s classes also lean more toward fostering a mind-body connection rather than treating it like a fitness class. We spoke to previous students, who shared that this approach helped them relieve their anxieties while also improving mobility, strength, and endurance.

This Land Yoga also offers a myriad of classes with different styles. For instance, beginners can enroll in their Foundational Flow, designed to help newcomers learn poses at a gradual pace.

Lastly, we recommend trying the yoga classes here due to its beautiful, cozy, and boho-inspired interior that adds to the overall relaxing ambiance.

Pros

  • Warm and welcoming ambience
  • Wide variety of classes
  • Strong focus on the mind-body connection
  • Uplifting instructors
  • Small and more intimate class sizes

Cons

  • Classes can fill up quickly

Welcoming and genuinely inclusive

“From the moment you walk in, there’s a peaceful energy in this studio that just makes you feel at ease. The instructors and community are welcoming and genuinely inclusive.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner stepping onto the mat for the first time or someone who has practiced for years; everyone is made to feel comfortable and supported. It’s a beautiful space with a really positive vibe.”

Brings great insight to the practice

“I look forward to this class every week. Lindsey is such a great instructor. She has a very calming demeanor, and she brings great insight to the practice. This class is the perfect reset button for mid-week.”

Mortal Yoga + Wellness is an excellent choice for those who prioritize mindfulness over fitness in their yoga classes. Although its classes build strength and endurance, they’re more geared towards overall well-being and growth.

The studio’s intimate setting offers a more raw experience that doesn’t require its participants to be performative.

Clients we spoke to said they feel natural in the studio thanks to the instructor’s non-judgmental, inclusive environment. Not to mention the relaxing, dim, candlelit rooms, which naturally make students feel at ease.

Furthermore, our interviewees love working with Mortal Yoga’s instructors due to their personalized attention to each student. They added that these professionals helped them familiarize themselves with the different poses without feeling like beginners.

Our interviewees also shared that they liked the classes here because they’re well-structured for different outcomes. For instance, Flow + Restore seamlessly blends movement with relaxation, while Roots are specifically designed to help beginners grasp the foundational poses.

Pros

  • Raw and authentic experience
  • Promotes wellness and growth
  • Well-structured classes
  • Passionate and knowledgeable instructors
  • Intimate studio

Cons

  • Less focus on fitness

Thoughtfully curated

“This studio is a wonderful addition to OKC. The space is warm and inviting from the moment you walk through the door.

You can immediately feel how much care Devin, the owner, has put into every detail — not just in the design of the space, but in cultivating an intentional, honest, and safe community for practice.

The class offerings are thoughtfully curated, with a wide variety of styles and times that make it accessible for all schedules and all levels of yogis. The app is phenomenal and makes it so easy to sign up and keep track of upcoming classes.

Practicing here feels like a reminder of both the fragility and beauty of life, and the importance of moving with intention both on and off the mat. I leave class feeling more present, more connected, and more myself. So grateful this space exists!”

Ashley Sauvageot, Google Review

Unique and welcoming space

“This space is amazing. Devin, the owner, has really put his heart and soul into this to create a unique and welcoming space for you to grow your practice! There are a ton of different class options and times. I highly recommend Mortal Yoga!”

Spirit House Yoga is the go-to for many Oklahomans who are just starting out. It’s beginner-friendly, and emphasizes being welcome to every body type, making it one of the few true inclusive yoga studios in the city.

It’s also among the most accessible options in OKC, as clients can walk in without hassle, and prices are upfront, starting at around $15.

One of our favorite things about the classes here is their straightforwardness. They’re specifically designed to help students with beginner and complex poses to maximize their efficacy when they’re ready for more advanced classes.

It is also worth noting that the instructors here have 20+ years of combined experience, which they demonstrate through their clear, in-depth discussions of the poses. Students we spoke to also appreciated how patient they are at helping each student perfect their form.

Since it focuses more on the fundamentals, the studio lacks advanced classes that are otherwise common in other options.

Pros

  • Inclusive and beginner-friendly
  • Walk-ins are available
  • Affordable and transparent pricing
  • 20+ years in the industry
  • Encouraging and compassionate instructors
  • In-depth classes

Cons

  • Lack of “advanced” classes

It’s a studio for everybody

“As someone who has been practicing for nearly a decade, I wish I had found this studio earlier. If you’ve ever thought, “I can’t do yoga,” then this is your yoga studio.

Martha and Ted are passionate about getting to know each student and empowering them to move their body in a safe and practical way.

Even lifelong students can learn quite a bit in each class, as their style of teaching really forces you to slow down and think about what you are doing.

While you will still get a great workout, this is not a hot, fast flow kind of studio. It’s a studio for everybody and every body type.

This is what yoga is really about, and I love that they share their knowledge with the community at the YogaLab and lead others to become great teachers through their Yoga Teacher Training. Wherever you are in your yoga journey, there’s a spot for you at Spirit House.”

Jenny Banner, Google Review

One of the most beautiful things I have participated in

“Spirit House is such an amazing place for all people wanting to start their journey with yoga.

The yoga teacher training program is one of the most beautiful things I have participated in, and Ted and Martha have so much knowledge to pass down to all those who are eager to learn. Stop in for a class and see for yourself.”
