Like any normal homebuyer in Oklahoma, I went to a mortgage broker. They streamline the process and basically do all the tough steps to find the best rates we can actually afford.

What stood out to us was the local expertise of Financial Concepts Mortgage. They’ve been in business for over 20 years, providing services in Oklahoma, as well as Texas and Florida, for clients who want to purchase homes out of state.
They’re flexible when it comes to loan options. They offer USDA loans for zero down payment in rural areas, Down Payment Assistance (DPA) loans for those who need monetary aid, and conventional loans for private lender-backed service.
There are more loan services, so they’ve got it all covered for every type of homeowner, whether you need financial assistance or are simply looking for a lender with the best rates.
And their mortgage brokers know how to do it right. During our surveys, we found that they were easy to work with and found the most competitive rates, and those are on top of the fast application process.
But the efficient service can vary, depending on the agent. The good thing is that they’re fairly easy to reach, and their office is even open on Saturdays.

It’s the overall effective service of FLB Mortgage that stood out the most. They’re an inclusive mortgage broker agency, where there’s no bias, regardless of skin colour, gender, religion, or household status.
Their services focus on home financing and refinancing, making them ideal for first-time homebuyers and individuals who need to replace their existing loans. From what we’ve seen, they know how to find loans that will work best for the borrower.
And while that’s an upside, there are drawbacks. It’s important to know that they’re the mortgage division of First Liberty Bank, so there isn’t a ton of lenders to choose from—that and the potential bias.
Nevertheless, the clients we spoke with never felt that they weren’t getting the best terms, even years after they received their loans. Their mortgage brokers still found tailored solutions for every borrower, which is an important part of loan applications.
Despite being part of a bank, they managed to make the whole process efficient and stress-free—a transparent service, all in all.

It also helps that they have access to a lot of lenders, so finding the best rates is a piece of cake. And from what we’ve seen, they do provide competitive rates, as their clients were happy with the coverage they received, both for homebuyers and refinancing.
The overall experience of borrowers went off without a hitch, and it’s impressive how in tune they are with the local real estate financial market. Clients noted how informative they were, including when comparing products from various lenders.
One of the most impressive parts of the process was their efficiency. These agents know how to work fast with a tight deadline, but with a small team, callbacks don’t come instantly sometimes—it’s not like it’s a long wait, anyway.

An example is their home purchase qualifier, which will tell you how much money you can borrow. But what really jumped out was their excellent customer service by combining technology and human assistance to minimize errors.
Plus, this approach can secure approvals quickly since it limits the possibility of incomplete paperwork. Another worth mentioning is their access to a long line of lenders to find the best rates that borrowers can realistically pay each month.
Regarding their service, we saw no hiccups, even though they’re a small team. While they do get busy during peak mortgage loan months in Oklahoma, they remain responsive—some calls may not be answered in a flash, but you won’t be waiting long for a response.
