“Bill’s Concrete was superb. I had a very small job so I wasn’t even sure if they would be interested. It was only 61 ft.². Their foreman Antwon came out exactly on time, took measurements and gave me an estimate which was quite good considering the amount of work involved and the small size of the job. The job took portions of three days. The first day, they excavated the necessary soil and hauled off all spoils. That same day they also set the forms, sanded the base and installed and tied rebar that would have held up the Devon Tower. Part of the job was expanding an existing sidewalk 1 foot in width and 13 feet in length. Not only did they install rebar in that narrow strip, they drilled into the existing sidewalk and pinned the rebar to the existing sidewalk so it would not separate in fluctuating hot and cold weather. They also poured a 6 x 6 pad with curbing for an area to store 4 big blue trash containers. I requested that they put square curbing around two of the sides, and a custom sloping curbing on one side to make it easy to remove the containers. The second day they poured and finished the concrete beautifully with a light broom finish, which I had not requested, but was an excellent choice to prevent slipping when wet or icy. The third day they removed the forms and cleaned up everything perfectly. There were three sprinkler heads adjacent to the original sidewalk which they moved and reset without disturbing the functioning of the heads. I highly recommend Bill’s Concrete for any concrete work large or small. Excellent, very professional outfit.”
