Our brand-new office space has desks, chairs, a great view, and absolutely no coffee machine in sight! So yes, finding the best coffee shop in Oklahoma has suddenly become serious business.
I need somewhere that can rescue my mornings with a strong cup and preferably a pastry I didn’t plan on ordering. Bonus points if there’s enough space to answer emails without elbowing someone’s latte.
So I went looking for local cafés worth leaving the office for. These spots stood out for good coffee, comfy corners, and the kind of atmosphere that makes caffeine runs dangerously easy to justify.
How much does it cost to visit a coffee shop in Oklahoma?
A coffee shop visit in Oklahoma usually costs around $2.50 to $7.50 per drink.

1. Coffee Slingers Roasters

Website
Address: 1015 N Broadway Ave
Contact: (405) 609-1662 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–7 PM; Saturday, 7 AM–7 PM
Coffee Slingers Roasters won me over with its direct relationships with farms in Guatemala and El Salvador. I like knowing my morning caffeine has a bit more backstory than just appearing in a paper cup.
They’ve been roasting in Oklahoma since 2008, and their process is seriously hands-on.
There’s a clear sense that they care about what happens before the espresso ever reaches the machine. Each coffee is cupped and evaluated to help shape the roast, which keeps the focus on the bean’s original character.
The café works just as well for casual coffee drinkers as it does for people who get nerdy about origin and brewing.
The catch is that Coffee Slingers intentionally doesn’t roast dark. If you’re devoted to big, smoky flavors, its brighter, origin-forward style may not be your ideal caffeine fix.

“The dirty chai was excellent”
Popped in for a quick cup to go but will definitely be going back to try the yummy-looking pastries and explore more of the drink menu. The dirty chai was excellent. My friend got a decaf strawberry latte (thank you for having decaf, so few coffee shops do) that she said was amazing. All syrups are made in-house, which is a bonus. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating.

“The drinks were fantastic”
The barista at Coffee Slingers was super friendly. The atmosphere was nice and sunny, and the drinks were fantastic. I had a matcha latte, and my daughter had a root beer. I’m not drinking as much coffee, or else I would’ve tried one of their coffee drinks. They had a great menu!

2. Perets Dessert & Coffee Bar

Website
Address: Paramount Building, 701 W Sheridan Ave
Contact: [email protected] | [email protected]
Hours: Tuesday–Sunday, 3 PM–11 PM
Perets Dessert & Coffee Bar is the kind of place I’d pick when coffee needs to feel a little more like a night out.
Its signature affogatos, house-made desserts, and cozy urban-living-room vibe make it easy to linger. The late hours are a big win if your caffeine cravings show up well after dinner.
Vintage-style seating and tucked-away corners make the space feel better suited to conversation than a grab-and-go coffee dash.
I like that Perets doesn’t stop at drinks and sweets either. Private rentals and catering give it extra appeal for birthdays, showers, or small gatherings that need more personality than a plain function room.
The catch is timing. Perets opens at 3 PM and closes on Mondays, so morning commuters will need to find their caffeine elsewhere.

“The best local coffee shop I’ve seen in the US so far”
My dream cafe!
The best local coffee shop I’ve seen in the US so far.
First, they stay relatively late, which is always a perk.
Second, you can’t top this ambience. It’s a place to relax, to meet with friends, to be with your date; definitely, some romantic element is present.
Third, the drinks and the snack treats are great.
Fourth, the service is wonderful with lots of young energy.
Can not recommend this place more if you’re visiting Oklahoma City.

“This place blew me away”
First time here, with my wife and daughter. Had no expectations, didn’t know what to expect. Googled it after having dinner at the Saucee Sicilian; more on that later. This place blew me away as soon as we left the elevator door. You can smell the coffee beans roasting before you even get on. I had the peach pie affogato. I wish I could enjoy one daily. First stop, Saucee Sicilian, Palermo pizza, roasted negroni. Next stop, here: peach pie affogato. That’s the move, thank me later.

3. EÔTÉ Coffee

Website
Address: Central Exchange Building, 7 NE 6th St, Suite 010
Contact: (405) 463-7312 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday–Saturday, 7 AM–5 PM; Sunday, 8 AM–3 PM
EÔTÉ Coffee feels like the kind of place I’d pick when I want my caffeine with a little ceremony.
Its slow bar serves pour-over, French press, and Chemex, while the coffee itself is roasted in-house.
I like that the bean lineup reaches beyond the usual suspects, with origins including Burundi and Nicaragua.
There are subscriptions and wholesale options too, which is handy if one cup somehow turns into a full-blown habit.
The reservable indoor and outdoor spaces are another nice touch for small meetings or catch-ups. It gives the café a bit more flexibility than your standard grab-it-and-go coffee stop.
Sunday is the one day that demands clock awareness. EÔTÉ closes at 3 PM, so late-afternoon pour-over plans may need a Plan B.

“My favorite coffee shop in OKC”
By far my favorite coffee shop in OKC. A coffee shop for those who are more on the sweaty side ☕❤️. From farm to brew, they have paid noticeable attention to the entire coffee-making process.

4. Classen Coffee Co.

Website
Address: 2515 N Classen Blvd
Contact: (405) 605-1139
Hours: Daily, 7 AM–6 PM
Classen Coffee Co. is the sort of place I’d pick when I want caffeine without turning the morning into a whole production.
The drive-through keeps things easy, while indoor and outdoor seating give you room to slow down if you’ve got time.
I like that it works just as well for a quick pickup as it does for studying, chatting, or hiding behind a laptop for a while.
The daily 7 AM opening is especially handy when the office coffee situation is still tragically nonexistent. Its seven-day schedule keeps the routine nice and predictable, too.
That makes Classen Coffee an easy neighborhood standby rather than a café you need to plan around.
The catch is the early finish. They close at 6 PM every day, so evening study sessions and post-dinner coffee runs need another destination.

5. Clarity Coffee

Website
Address: 431 W Main St, Suite A
Contact: (405) 252-0155
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6 AM–4 PM; Saturday–Sunday, 8 AM–4 PM
Clarity Coffee is the kind of place I’d pick when I want my caffeine with receipts.
Its single-origin coffees come with detailed sourcing information, so you can actually see where your beans came from.
I like that oat and almond milk don’t cost extra either. That’s a small perk, but it makes customizing your usual order feel a little less financially dramatic.
There’s plenty beyond straight coffee too, including espresso drinks, teas, and seasonal options.
Order-ahead service adds another layer of convenience when your morning schedule is already misbehaving.
The catch is the food menu. It leans heavily on pastries and baked goods, so anyone after a proper lunch will probably need a second stop.

“Exceptionally welcoming, and the drinks were delicious”
We walked up from the botanical gardens for a couple of Clarity Cool Downs. The young ladies behind the bar were exceptionally welcoming, and the drinks were delicious. I already know where we’re getting our coffee the next time we visit OKC.
